Father's Day Celebration - Part II

 

Celebrated the official Father's Day, 20th June, with Mom's side of family!

It was Mom's treat so Mom had already booked a neighborhood restaurant earlier on!

Although the restaurant was tucked away in a quiet spot among Ang Mo Kio neighborhood, eventually decided upon it as we had previously ate there (like 2 years ago) and their shark fin soup's shark fin was really thick! 

Time check! 5.25pm! 

Our family had to fetch grandpa at his provision shop first before proceeding down to the restaurant!

Father's Day Celebration - Part I

Took the opportunity to celebrate Father's Day today (on the eve of it) since we were celebrating the official Father's Day tomorrow with grand-dad and family! 

It will be Mom's treat then! At some chinese restaurant situated at Ang Mo Kio!

But for now, it would be Sis and my treat! Though mostly, it was Sis's treat since I only contributed S$100! Lol! Hey, but she's working right now so she should contribute more whereas I'm jobless and unemployed man!

Singapore Turf Club Fun Under The Stars Night

 

Okay, you guys must be wondering why I was at Singapore Turf Club!

It's like so out of random right?!

Say what?! Betting on horses? Well...

Gathered with rest of Ah Lahs gang to watch SATC2!

And it was in conjunction with a post-exam celebration! 

Anyway, bossy me (cause I insisted everyone be early, bring their I/C and sweater) SMS-ed everyone to reach our usual eating place, Sakura, promptly at 12noon sharp!

When actually, I had specially arranged (behind everyone's back, oops!) for Sow to come at 1pm after her job interview since she requested for everyone to be on time (behold, the great celebrity please) and not be late!

After-all, it's quite commonsensical (within Ah Lahs) that most of the gang would be late so I estimated everyone to reach at roughly 12.45pm (close to Sow's arrival time)! Lol!

Reached the land of pyramids!

Snapped some photos of Egypt first before proceeding to sit "The Revenge of the Mummy" ride!

Finally, the post we have all been waiting for!

Okay, probably just me!

Anyway...Universal Studios! Yippe!

Had to split the post into three parts since I took an alarmingly number of 128 images! 

So it was a terribly insanely hot day and we needed to find the gathering place to collect our tickets and breakfast first!

But, this being the first time we were there, we were practically going 'round in circles trying to find the gathering spot, which was Hard Rock Cafe!

Okay, so at long last, we eventually found the place!
