hits a home run

at long last!

my long overdue post about

father's day is finally up!

screw blogger seriously!

(yes, i'm biting the network

that supports my blog)



well, moving on! (:

anyway, for father's day,

my sister and i treated my daddy to

carousel at the royal plaza on scotts!

and the only reason we were there was

because my daddy wanted to!

well, what can i say?!

daddy really has an expensive taste!

(:



the food wasn't exactly mind-blowing

*given the exorbitant price*

(shangri-la would definitely be a better choice

if you are a seafood-lover like me)

though i must say that it has a wide variety

of chinese, malay, japanese and western cusine!

some of the "oomph!" factors were

the various types of cheese available

my favourite would be the raspberry swirl cheese

as it truly tasted like a dessert!

the sashimi trio of salmon, maguro

and hamachi were really fresh

though it was such a pity that

they didn't have oysters

unlike shangri-la and their fabulous oysters!

the waffle was really goood!

especially for crispy waffle fans like me!

and it sure doesn't hurt that the chef was a cutie!

oooh and the egg benedict was superb!

it was like a better version of mcdonalds

but with a softer muffin bread,

topped with smoked salmon

and the "absolutely-to-die-for" lava egg!

and don't ever leave the restaurant

without eating two of the desserts!

the crispy waffle with ice cream

and the mint chocolate cake

which was really delicious!



in case you guys are wondering,

yupp, i went for 5 rounds of the buffet

and...proud of it! (:

(but that was because i didn't pile up my plate

and didn't ate any beef or rice *i solemnly swear*)

and i lasted throughout the allocated buffet time!

which was, 12noon to 2.30pm!

and yeah, at my 5th round,

the rest of my family were truly stuffed

and it was like 2.20pm

way past the call for final order

but i still desired my ice cream waffle!

so i went to the waffle making station

and the cutie chef was the only one left there!

he spotted me snooping around

and kindly offered to make the crispy waffle for me!

(yes fanana, i did not seduce and

most probably can't right?!)

oops, but i kinda suck though,

as he had made quite a few of the crispy waffles

(probably due to my large size)

but in the end, i only wanted one piece!

*oops!*

think i would most likely be remembered as

"that obnoxious fat bitch"!
