A Blast from the Past Ah Lahs Outing

 

Rest of Ahlahs are probably gonna throw bricks and stones at me for uploading all these pics, after what seems like a thousand years! 

But hey, better late than never right?

At the very least, I think I'm much better than Joys, who made our Chinese New Year pics taken at my new house 2 years ago vanish into...literally no air! Oops!

Okay okay, so that day was the first outing we've met up after my 21st birthday bash and marks Fanana's return from Bangkok!

Just whipped out my camera and unearthed some never-before-uploaded photos from the past!

Oh and it actually features Fanana in her Blaine dress that Sow gave her for our Christmas exchange program!

As per usual, we started the day by eating lunch at Pastamania! It's like some ritual every time we meet up! Lol!

Iron Man 2

Watched Iron Man 2 today with Fanana!

But firstly, we arranged to meet at the box office to buy tickets at student price!

Being the 'cheapo' one, I was over the moon that we successfully bought tickets at a discounted price until Fanana asked me why I had to make such a big fuss about it since we only saved like 50cents each since the original ticket price on a Monday is only S$7.50! Like what-the-hell, brought me down to earth with a huge bang manx!

Anyway, we still had some time before the movie so we went to Pastamania to grabbed some decent lunch!

TGIGKF!

Met up with Fanana and Rainy today for TGIGKF!

You may ask what's TGIGKF! But shadn't tell as it's a secret! Okay, not so much of a secret, since it's such an open secret! (Just read my tweet and you'll know) 

Anyway, our outing was abit of a failure at the start since we were all scheduled (by me, nonetheless) to reach Sakura promptly by 11.30am sharp (as our itinerary were packed to the brim for the day) but no one really adhered to the timing except me! Had arrived at 11.20am and was Sakura's first customer of the day!

Was reading 8Days today (people who know me well would probably know that I'm a huge 8Days fan who buys every issue without fail)

Anyway, as usual, I was happily reading Jason Hahn's "First Person" column (I think I have a serious crush on him but that's another matter for exploring some other day) and after reading it, I felt truly inspired about a book he mentioned on his column, "Dear Me: A Letter to My Sixteen-Year-Old Self", that I penned a letter to my 16 year old self.

Random Rumblings I

Life isn't as easy as it seems...

When I was young, I used to think that only flustered and perplexed people had this negative perception.

But it seems that, with age, I had become like one of them.

I had grown to realize that life isn't just only about you but also relies on other factors (that seems rather insignificant but turns out not so insignificant after all)

Factors like timing, family, friends, motivation, current state of mind, future plans and so much more...

What any other better way to celebrate after exams than finally having a taste of sweet freedom and in my case, revamping my blog?

Some people (which includes my mom, dad and probably my sis) probably think I'm mad as I can stay in front of the computer all day juggling away with html codes, "web" designing and stuff and reading up on the latest photoshopping functions (though it's weird that I don't have photoshop) but I really love doing things like that!
