But firstly, we arranged to meet at the box office to buy tickets at student price!
Being the 'cheapo' one, I was over the moon that we successfully bought tickets at a discounted price until Fanana asked me why I had to make such a big fuss about it since we only saved like 50cents each since the original ticket price on a Monday is only S$7.50! Like what-the-hell, brought me down to earth with a huge bang manx!
Anyway, we still had some time before the movie so we went to Pastamania to grabbed some decent lunch!

And off we go for IRON MAN 2!The movie was rather good, I must say! Though I felt that Gwyneth Paltrow was kind of overshadowed by Scarlett Johansson at certain scenes, which was such a pity since Gwyneth Paltrow is the main female lead afterall!
Don't know about others but I found the scenes where Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) and Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) were having heated arguments, rather annoying and redundant! I mean one heated argument was alright since the storyline requires it, but two is just really annoying!
Besides that, I also felt that Don Cheadle didn't deliver a very spectacular performance as James "Rhodey" Rhodes and it came off rather boring and lacklustre!
The best scenes in the movie are probably when Tony Stark shocked everyone (especially Pepper Potts) by suddenly participating as a driver in the Monaco Race and when Mickey Rourke appeared as Whiplash and Pepper Potts was rushing to give the Iron Man suit to Tony! And oh my gosh, Sam Rockwell was absolutely hilarious as Justin Hammer! He's like a male version of Sue Sylvester!
Oh and towards the rolling credits, I had a sudden bout of bad tummyache and abandoned Fanana (who was waiting for the 'Easter Egg' to show) Like Oops! But I had no choice, need to answer nature's call!
Anyway, after that, we walked around Stardust and gushed about the various cosmetics (okay, especially me! attracted to all those purple eyeshadow palettes and eyeliners) and much later, to Secret Recipe for some afternoon tea! Ordered Pecan Butterscotch cake (which was truly yums!) and Apple Crumble Cheesecake!

Went on to conquer the shopping world by heading towards Dorothy Perkins which was holding a sale! Initially thought that I would stir up a shopping spree at Dorothy Perkins but surprisingly, I did not! Even Fanana was very amazed!
Then, we went on to Cotton On where Fanana bought like two items, a zebra-print zipped spaghetti top and a nautical tank! Stopped her when she was tempted to buy a skort at sale price of S$10, only to be greeted by stares from everyone! Like oops! Guess my loud voice always receive unwanted attention! But that's how we, Ahlahs, always speak!
Went on to Dorothy Perkins again to try on the nautical dress (that I had been thinking about) but it wasn't nice so didn't get it in the end! Snapped a full length outfit shot in the dressing room while waiting for Fanana to come out of the washroom! (Oh and I took it without the knowledge of Fanana so she was probably thinking why I took so long in the fitting room! Lol!)

P.S. Oh and we discovered another new word, 'schizophrenic', to add to "Kim's List of Mispronounced Words"! Mis-pronounced it as 'chi-zo-phenialia'! Lol!
