Universal Studios Singapore with Ahlahs - Part I

Celebrated my birthday with Ahlahs on 1.11.10!

Yeah, the very first day of my birthday month! Hee! (;

And where else could we go to celebrate this big day...other than Universal Studios Singapore!!! 

Yes, that would mark my 2nd visit there after my visit last summer!

Yay! It's a Friday!

Which was another "Shopping + Swensens before Class (SSBC)" session!

Met Fanana for some Swensens lunch first then shopping for some necessities for USS with Ahlahs (which was happening the following week!)

Dolly Wink x Trench Coat

Okay so this will be the main subject of today's post!

Some of you may wonder why the sudden post on Dolly Wink lashes?

Well, it's because, recently I was discussing (via twitter) with one of my tweet buddies, @meeisjun, about falsies and she mentioned in passing that she felt like trying Dolly Wink lashes! 

Like omg, it was such a coincidence that I bought them previously (at an exorbitant price of S$25) and tried one pair on but didn't love it so it's been sitting pretty on my study rack ever since, untouched and accumulating dust and dirt!

So naturally, being the kind soul (yes, I am nice okay!), I advised her against getting it and although she mentioned that there were tons of highly-raved Dolly Wink reviews floating on the net, told her not to be hoodwinked by them!

However, I gave it some after-thought and decided to give Dolly Wink falsies another go, since it would be biased to isolate it after trying it once and without adjusting/cutting it to a proper length!

Anyway, so tried it on and guess what...

Okay, in this case, it's not a kid but a restaurant!

Bet you have seen these "xiao long bao"aka steamed meat soup bun posters or commercials plastered all over Singapore since their debut!

Was so hyped up by their good reviews on 8days magazine and TVCs that I went to try it for myself and who better to drag out than...

A Date with Emily The Strange

 

Okay so in the month of October, we had a random impromptu ice cream date before our classes! 

And why yes, it was an absolute-must in order to keep ourselves mundane within this hectic school week!

We also had to meet to lay down plans for my birthday celebration, which was to USS (post coming your way soon!)

And most importantly, we had a date with Emily the Strange!!!

Marina Bay Sands Day II

Morning!!!

In case you guys haven't already realized, it's Day 2 of our stay at Marina Bay Sands!

You won't believe this but I was such a foodie that I aimed for breakfast at...where else but the "Rise"!

I know, I know, we just went there the other day for buffet dinner but hey, you may only live at MBS this once right?

So yeah, was damn tempted to give it a try after hearing the waitress informing us about it!

So anyway, I actually set my alarm clock to 6.30am and woke up exactly on the dot!

Which was such a phenomenon...
