sadness
just came back from my friend's wake
still can't grasp over the fact that
he has left us and gone over to another dimension
just as many of us are starting on a new chapter of our life
his chapter has already ended...so abruptly...
seems like yesterday that we have graduated with our 'O's
and...now he's gone and never coming back...
excerpt from the fray's "how to save a life"
"where did i go wrong, i lost a friend
somewhere along in the bitterness
and i would have stayed up with you all night

and excerpt from taylor swift's "breathe"
"i see your face in my mind as i drive away
cause none of us thought

this incident has renewed my perspective on life
about how fragile and short-lived life can be
the next time we lament about the things in life
shouldn't we stop and think instead
about how thankful we should be
to have last this far in life?

sis birthday
april 1st
sis birthday dinner at kuishin-bo
flowers for the day given by my sister's bf
the happy couple in ♥

sis remarked that, for once, i looked thin in this pic
as i was compressed against the wall

which brings a new meaning to the term
"natural photoshop" ((:

oops noticed i haven't been
diligently blogging for a while now
my apologies as i was down with fever,
sore throat and cold for the past few days
just got a little better recently ((:
anyway on a more light-hearted note
went to celebrate my sister's birthday
on April 1st, at the newly-renovated
Kuishin-Bo at Great World City
{sidetrack:
it replaces the the really exorbitantly-priced
kuriya-dining, which specialises in japanese fine
dining cusine and seasonal specialties
which came as a shock to me,
as business seems really good at the former
but well, blame it on the recession and
singaporeans' fondness for buffets
i guess}
the food was good
love the freshness of the sashimi very much
sashimi anyone?
however found the additional barbecue counter
rather redundant
as the barbecue food counter
was nothing much to rave about
but an amusing thing occurred
someone apparently pulled the lever
of the ice-cream machine too hard
and the ice-cream eventually couldn't stop flowing
until it formed a mini ice-cream pool
the actual ice-cream pool was much more terrible
((:
and i know what you guys are thinking
but sorry no it's not me...seriously!
anyway would definitely upload the pictures
of the 22th bash at the next post
when i have gotten them from my sister
((:
anyway, as per my airline joys' request,
