Movie marathon time!

Inception and Despicable Me, back-to-back, this time 'round!

Headed down to Plaza Sing to meet up with my fellow enthusiastic pre-arranged-long-time-ago Inception mate or otherwise better known as my movie "kaki", Fanana!

Waited for her to arrive and we bought the movie tickets (at student price)!

Oh and blur me actually forgot to bring my SIM student pass! Fortunately, the counter staff was like super duper nice and decided to close one eye and accept my Popular student card! Lol!

And off we went for Inception first!

Glee time!!! Met Fanana for some Gleek singing practice today!

Oh and you guys must be wondering what's KBFEWR!

KBFEWR = Kbox Far East Without Rainy! 

That's because Rainy had backed out of our initial plan and left for Bangkok! Lol!

*Ahem* Let me loosen my voice first! "Mi, mi, mi, mi, mi, mi, mi!"

But before that, we met at our usual dining spot at Sakura for lunch!

Oh yeah and her tea with milk that the service guy insisted didn't exist!

Sis Graduation Dinner 2010

 

You must be thinking why I'm posting up my sister's graduation dinner photos when it's my blog! But I'm proud to say I did her makeup and was her stylist for that night!

So of course I must seize this opportunity and exhibit the after-products or rather after-effects of my skills right?! Lol! Self-praise, I know! 

Anyway, arrived back home at 3+ pm, napped for a while till 4.30pm and began doing sis' makeup for her! Was pretty excited about it cause it was my very first time putting on false eyelashes for someone else other than myself!

Sis Graduation Commencement 2010

At  some point in our life, we usually find ourselves ending one chapter to embark on the next and for my sis, that faithful day marks the end of her university life.

Feelings on that day could be felt as being thoroughly mixed, with happiness (of finally graduating and retiring those thick reference books, lecture notes and putting an end to the haste and pace of trying to finish projects and assignments) and sadness (of the thought of bidding farewell to the vibrant, carefree and fun atmosphere of uni life and the opportunity of making genuine friends along the way) and the sorrows (of not being able to meet up with your uni friends as often as you liked anymore and missing the days of mugging together to just hanging around for something and nothing at all)

But alas as cliché as it sounds, nothing is forever and all good things must come to an end so let's take a look at the much-cherished beautiful moments of my sis' graduation (as captured by yours truly) before she embarks on her next journey to life!

Kel's 22nd Birthday

Was a pleasant evening out with the girls last night and gosh, it's been so long since I last met them! 

Anyway, everything was set to feel like an awesome night! 

Like the lovely weather (as captured on the photo above), the vibrant night scene and of course...bunch of gorgeous company!

Met Mich and Ying at Central first and we walked around to hunt for a suitable cake for Kel!

But oh my god, we had a tough time hunting for a cake there! Most of the bakeries sold actual pastries or pandan chiffon cake!

In the end, we tried The Coffee Connoisseur (or rather better known as TCC) after accidentally crashing onto it around the corner...but we still left without buying anything!

Haji Haji with Fanana

Successfully met Fanana on Saturday for our long-planned Haji Lane tour! 

And mind you, that was despite all the sudden setbacks!

Must have been a curse or something cause more than half of Ahlahs dropped out of the pre-arranged plan prior to the date, citing family gathering, illness and "that-time-of-the-month" reasons!

And it's amusing and funny at the same time because Fanana was the organizer of this event and not me, but I don't know why everyone actually SMS-ed me all their questions and reasons for not being able to turn up tomorrow! Lol!

But the most hilarious SMS and phone call had to go to Ms Nur! Seriously, that girl beats everyone hands (and probably legs) down!
