Remember the DBF Reunion 2010?!

Straight after that, Joys and I headed to Tiong Bahru first (to idle the time away) after hitching a ride from Vincent and I had a presto change out of my Sue Sylvester jumpsuit!

Rainy and Fanana were still stuck at home, the former stuck with spring cleaning duties and the latter had just got home after work and was busy enjoying her bubble bath!

DBF Reunion 2010

Went back to my alma mater, Singapore Polytechnic, on 28 August for a DBF Reunion!

And in case you guys are wondering why I'm dressed in a jumpsuit ala Sue Sylvester, it's because I thought we were gonna do some "Let's Get Physical!" activity!

Especially since the itinerary email stated that we were going to play some games and one of them was "Musical Chairs"!

Food Tasting Session II at NUS The Scholar Restaurant

Remember our previous and first food tasting session here?

Well, dad wasn't particularly impressed with the food so this calls for round two at NUS The Scholar Restaurant! 

In case you guys are wondering why we picked this restaurant (that probably sounds "ulu"), that's because we have tried this restaurant before and their shark fins soup and abalone promotion was really good and cheap, definitely worth more than your every cent!

Plus daddykins' super upbeat and proud of my elder sister finally graduating from NUS so he really wants to hold it at her alma mater and bask in the glory of some kind (actually I also don't quite get it too but anyway, what matter's most is that he's happy on his 60th birthday!)

Jiayi's 22nd Birthday

 

Met up with my favorite people in the entire world who I have known, since forever, last last week! 

It was also to celebrate Jiayi's 22nd Birthday! Happy Birthday Girl!!!

Plus it was also because someone's back!!!  Guess who?!

Sis Graduation Family Photo Shoot

Had a family portrait shoot last month in accordance with my sister's university graduation!

And oh my gosh, the studio that we went to, Serangoon Broadway, was crowded with graduates (and wow, some of them were already married and brought their kids along!) on that day!

Furthermore, to make matters worse, I felt that the makeup artists, in my own honest opinion, didn't do a proper job of applying makeup and stuff (probably because there were too many graduates and their family waiting in line for makeup as well) especially since it looked like they were just carelessly dabbing barely-there makeup onto those random faces!

But, thank goodness, I had the foresight and did my own (or as the guys would call it, "look-like-you-were-punched-in-the-eye") makeup at home! Lol!

Dim Sum Buffet at Szechuan Court

Rise and Shine and went to Szechuan Court with my family on a random Sunday morning!

Plus it's awesome as it was Sis treat this time 'round! Heh!

However, it had been quite an awful week for me thus far because I was down with a sore eye (due to the countless dirt accumulated from the dusty stacks of membership forms at my temporary data entry job workplace)

Since I was still in the midst of recuperating from my sore eye, I couldn't risk putting on any makeup to aggravate it further!

SFBP - Scouting For Butterscotch Pecan

Gave in to our cravings for Butterscotch Pecan Cake and met up to scout for it last month!

Met Fanana after work at my old hometown and we made our way to the origin of Butterscotch Pecan Cake, Secret Recipe at Plaza Singapura! 

Wanted to go to Pastamania first to have some warm pasta dinner to fill our palates but the place was like fully packed to the max so we decided to just head to Secret Recipe for our one stop destination for dinner and dessert! 

And it was 3...2...1...

Food Tasting Session I at Keng Eng Kee Seafood

 

Since there's still some time before my ear appointment, I shall blog about this! 

Okay so we had a Food Tasting Session at Keng Eng Kee Seafood at I-forgot-which-day! 

Basically, it's at some "zhi char" open-air and air-conditioned restaurant joint!

Depends on where you would love to sit! 

Anyway, no, by means of  food tasting session, I don't exactly mean like this big hoo-ha over the food blogging community that created quite a ruckus!

But rather, a food tasting session for my daddykin's 60th birthday! And yes, if it mattered that much to you, we did pay for it in cold hard cash! 

Oh yeah and it's also in-conjunction with this big surprise that my sis revealed to us later that evening!
