Singapore Turf Club Fun Under The Stars Night

Okay, you guys must be wondering why I was at Singapore Turf Club!

It's like so out of random right?!

Say what?! Betting on horses? Well...

...Nope! Doing something much more mundane in fact!

Well, I'm actually there for it's Fun Under The Stars Night!

And also to support my sis! Especially since she had a part in organizing and was doing reception for the event!

Plus it was a public viewing day that day (they open up to the public once every three months to educate the public to view horse racing as an activity for the entire family and not just for betting or punting) so it was FREE ENTRY for all!

Usually, vehicles will be charged S$5 per entry into the Turf Club so being a huge cheapo, free entry was like oh-so-goood!

First family I spotted!

No no, this isn't some MRT station!

Walked on further and ta-dah!

My sis hard at work with two of her colleagues at the side <3

Sis giving out the program guide (and with her walkie talkie)

Sis posing a photo with her colleagues
Isn't her dress nice?! I bought it! Shameless but I must credit myself for my good taste!

Oh yeah, her colleagues commented the same thing about me as my mom's colleagues! That I look "ang-moh" or rather caucasian! I think it's due to my orangey-brown hair color! What do you guys think?!

The goal cart or rather buggy!

Not so obvious but horses racing in the background!
And no, this boy isn't related to me in any way!

 The huge overhead lights

Walked downstairs to the Summer Night Concert! Which was specially arranged by PA (People's Association)!

Can't-remember-what performance

Some belly-dancing performance

...Camera, Action, Spotlight!

A more close up (but blurry) pic of the three of them

Still blurry but whatever

Cajoling the crowd to clap and sing along!

The emerald green thingy was actually the band that's playing the music

Check out my Buddha ears please <3

Me with my Bonitochico top and...my usual pigtails!

They are neon light kites

Exterior view of the grandstand

 Bloated me <3

Anyway, watched Matilda on HBO recently and found another good use for pigtails! FLYING!

Truly inspired by the scene in Matilda where Ms Trenchbull, being the principal of Crunchem Hall Elementary School, grabbed a small female student by her pigtails and swung her 'round!

Oh crap, I think I just gave away (to my enemies) another of my Achilles' Heel (besides massive sale at Dorothy Perkins) But it's okay doubt anyone has the strength to lift me up in the air and needless to say, even swing me! *Huge beams*

P.S. Stay tuned for my next post on Father's day! Separated into two posts! Till then folks!
